Shoreline Notes newsletter
Joining our newsletter is optional. If you subscribe, we use the email address you provide to send occasional Magic Beaches stories and updates. You do not need to subscribe to browse this website. MailerLite processes newsletter subscriptions for us and may record information connected with your sign-up and email engagement, such as delivery, opens and link clicks, depending on its settings. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter.
MailerLite stores subscriber information in the European Union, outside South Africa. We keep your subscription information while you are subscribed and handle removal requests sent to us, subject to any records we need to retain for legal or administrative reasons. Read MailerLite’s privacy policy for information about its processing.
Olive Beach House enquiries
The property page offers WhatsApp and email links with an editable enquiry message. We receive your details only when you send the message through your chosen service, and use them to respond, check availability and administer your enquiry or booking. There is no embedded third-party enquiry form on the property page.
We may share relevant information with the Olive Beach House owner or operator when needed to handle your request. We retain correspondence and booking records only for as long as reasonably needed for these purposes, legal obligations and business records. Please do not send sensitive personal information in your enquiry.
If you choose the separate WhatsApp link, your message is sent only when you press send in WhatsApp. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and its privacy policy applies to your use of that service.
Holiday enquiries and booking information
The Say hello page offers direct WhatsApp and email links. An email link opens your email app; you send the message there. A WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp; your message is sent only when you press send. Your chosen email provider or WhatsApp processes your message under its own privacy practices. We use your contact details, travel preferences and correspondence to respond and arrange requested bookings. We share only information reasonably needed with the relevant property operator, wholesaler, airline or other supplier. A booking may later require traveller names, dates of birth or identity details; we will explain what is needed and how to provide it. Please do not send passports, medical details or payment credentials in an initial enquiry.
Suppliers may be outside South Africa. Before transferring booking information internationally, we will identify the relevant recipient and destination and ensure a lawful basis and safeguards under POPIA. Information about children or health needs requires particular care and any applicable additional permissions. We retain enquiry and booking records for the time reasonably needed to fulfil the request and meet legal, accounting and dispute obligations, then delete or de-identify them. A booking enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing; newsletter sign-up is separate.
Site visits and other platforms
We have not installed website visitor analytics or advertising pixels on this site. Basic technical information may still be handled by the hosting service to deliver and protect the website. If you follow a link to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, DistroKid or a music service, that service has its own terms, privacy practices and audience statistics. We may use the aggregate insights available on those platforms to understand which content people enjoy.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access or correct information you have given us, object to its use, or request deletion where applicable by emailing hello@magicbeaches.com. You can also raise a complaint with the South African Information Regulator.

Some stories may be sponsored or include commercial links. We will identify paid features and partnerships clearly.
